Students will begin working on a project regarding the establishment of Israel. This project will be completed in class; however, students are more than welcome to work on the project at home. I have included a copy of the directions for the project below. The due date is Friday, November 9.

Students will be quizzed on the Creation of Israel on Monday, November 12th. Please use the notes from the Power Point presentation to study for this quiz. Remember you can always access the textbook online, and the directions are glued inside of your notebook.

Students will be learning about the history of Southwest Asia this week. Please read chapter 4 section 4 which begins on pages 83-90 in your social studies textbook. The directions to access the textbook should be in your composition notebook. Please see me if you have misplaced your copy of the directions, and I will give you another one. I have also included online games for you to play and review.

This week will end the unit on the ethnic and religious groups of Southwest Asia. The summative assessment will be given on Wednesday, October 17 (odd class periods) and Thursday, October 18 (even class periods).  Please use your notes to study for this assignment. You may also play online games listed on my previous posts to assist you with studying as well.
