Students will have a map quiz on Friday, August 31 over the following physical and political features of Southwest Asia: Euphrates River, Jordan River, Tigris River, Suez Canal, Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Gaza Strip, and West Bank. Please use your notes to study for this quiz. You may also practice by utilizing the online games that are listed on the blog.

Finally, students will be researching a country of SWA. This research project contains two components. The first component, the research packet, is due on Tuesday, September 4th. The other component,  the poster a, is due Thursday, September 6th. 

​Information for this project is located on page 14 of the Interactive Student Notebook and in My Country Report Note-Taking Packet.
