Students will begin learning about Southwest Asia. They will be learning to locate and identify on a world map the Euphrates River, Jordan River, Tigris River, Suez Canal, Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Gaza Strip, and West Bank.
Students will be utilizing the textbook and teacher resources for assignments pertaining to these physical and political features.
